IT’S THE COOKING CLUB

It has been a while since we’ve updated, but the cooking club is still going and we’re making a splash with our next project. Our future plans include a Post-Valentines Day EXTRAVAGANZA! We will be holding our very own bake sale. Also all of the proceeds will be going to Sarah’s Place, an organization assisting homeless women in finding success. That’s right! We are cooking for a cause. We also have other sumptuous secrets underway that will soon be revealed. Until then, new members are always welcome.

Other news in the cooking club:

Club moderators Miss Hamill and Mrs. Chabura placed in the faculty chili cook off. Congratulations! All those cooking skills are coming in handy!

Welcome to the Cooking Club!

We are one of St. Scholastica’s newest clubs, and basically, we cook for fun. There are no limits to what we make; we just think about food we like and make it, no skills necessary!

Here’s a list of some of things we have made in the past:

Rosemary chicken

Potatoes au gratin

Holiday cookies

Finger foods

Pizza

...and many more!

Most of our cooking action can be found behind the scenes of St. Scholastica events including Boofest and the Etiquette 101 recruitment event. After all, behind every great school, there is a fabulous cooking club. That’s us! But we couldn’t do it all by ourselves. The cooking club has been lucky enough to have two cooking enthusiasts for moderators:

Ms. Vern Hamill (Teacher) and Ms. Jamie Chabura (Recruitment)
